Stop sending my customer satisfaction surveys. If you cared enough, you’d pick up the telephone and ask me why I like or dislike doing business with you. Even better, sit across from me and I’ll tell you face to face what is good and what is bad about our business relationship. I don’t bite. Making you a better supplier makes me a better customer.
I just changed insurance companies because their service was horrible, their pricing wrong, and the relationship with the salesperson non-existent. Every time I called to give them more business (!), they seemed to be doing me a favor taking it. And it was usually wrong. I would significantly overpay and then they would have to send me the difference, and with no explanation. Try to figure that one out.
But, when I cancelled, I got a letter from the CEO thanking me for my business and wanting to know why I left. "You are important to us". Really? I know why. I overpaid almost $1500 this year. Good riddance.
Industrial suppliers also want you to fill out survey cards and online surveys. No. Listen to me or look me in the eye.
